How to Bulk Update To-Do Tasks in Buildern

Managing multiple tasks individually can take time, especially in large projects. In this article, you will learn how to select multiple To-Do tasks and update them simultaneously using Bulk Update.

Access the To-Dos Module

To begin updating tasks in bulk:

  1. Open the project you want to work on.

  2. Navigate to the To-Dos module from the left-side menu.

  3. Make sure you are in List View, where bulk actions are available.

ℹ️ Note – Bulk Update actions are only available in List View.

Select Multiple To-Do Tasks

To perform a bulk update, you first need to select the tasks you want to modify.

  1. Locate the To-Do tasks in the list.

  2. Use the checkboxes next to each task to select multiple items.

  3. After selecting tasks, the Bulk Update toolbar will appear.

You can update the following fields:

  • Assignees – Assign or change the responsible team member for the selected tasks.

  • Labels – Add or modify labels to help categorize and organize tasks.

  • Reminders – Set reminders to notify team members about upcoming tasks or deadlines.

  • Due Date – Update the due date for multiple tasks at the same time.

  • Parent – Assign the selected tasks to a parent To-Do item to organize tasks hierarchically.

  • Priority – Change the priority level of the selected tasks (for example, Low, Medium, or High).

These options help teams quickly reorganize tasks and ensure project information stays consistent across multiple To-Dos.

In addition to Bulk Update, the bottom action bar provides other quick actions for the selected items:

1. Change the status of several tasks at once.

2. Copy the selected tasks to another project or template using the Copy to option.

3. Download the selected tasks

4. Delete tasks if they are no longer needed.

These bulk actions help teams manage and organize multiple tasks more efficiently.
