Method 1: Edit from the Action Menu
Each Daily Log / Site Diary includes a 3-dot icon (...) menu on the right side. This menu provides all available actions for that specific log.
Click the 3-dot icon to access the following options:
1. Edit - Use this option when something in the log needs to be updated or completed.
For example, you may have created a Daily Log / Site Diary earlier in the day and later need to:
Add missing details
Attach photos from the site
Adjust weather information
Update what’s shared with the client
Select Edit, make your changes, then click Save.
2. View - Use this option when you want to review a log without making changes.
Selecting View opens the Daily Log / Site Diary in read-only mode, where you can see the log details.
💡Tip - From this screen, you can switch to Edit if you notice something that needs updating.
3. Share - Use this option when you want to make the log visible to your client.
Selecting Share allows you to:
Share the Daily Log / Site Diary with the client
Make it visible in the client portal
💡Tip - This helps maintain consistent communication without sending separate updates manually.
4. Watchers - Use this option to keep specific team members informed about a log.
In practice, you might add a project manager to monitor updates, include a stakeholder who needs visibility into site activity, or remove users who no longer need notifications.
Selecting Watchers allows you to:
View current watchers
Add or remove users
Once added, watchers will receive notifications whenever the Daily Log / Site Diary is updated.

ℹ️ Note - This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
Method 2: Open and Edit from the Log View
You can also edit a Daily Log / Site Diary from the List view.
Click on the Date and time of the log.
The log will open in Edit mode.

Bulk Actions for Daily Logs / Site Diaries
While editing is done per log, Buildern allows you to manage multiple Daily Logs / Site Diaries at once using bulk actions.
Navigate to Daily Logs / Site Diaries → List.
Select one or more logs using the checkboxes on the left.
A bulk action toolbar will appear at the bottom of the screen.
From here, you can:
