Bulk Update Selections
Buildern allows you to perform actions on multiple selections at the same time, including bulk editing, status updates, sharing, downloading, and deleting selections.
To perform bulk actions:
Open your project.
Navigate to Selections and Allowances.
Select the checkboxes next to the selections you want to update.
You can select individual selections using the checkboxes next to each item, or use the checkbox in the header row to select all visible selections at once.
Available Bulk Actions
Once selections are selected, Buildern provides several bulk actions to help you manage multiple selections at once.
Bulk Change - Click the Bulk Change icon to update common selection details across multiple selections at the same time.
The Bulk Change menu allows you to update:
Category - Assign a new category to the selected selections.
Location - Update the project location associated with the selected selections.
Quantity - Modify the quantity value for multiple selections simultaneously.
Unit Price Ex. Tax - Update the unit price excluding tax.
Unit Price Inc. Tax - Update the unit price including tax.
Copy To - Click the Copy To icon to copy the selected selections to another project or template.
💡 Tip - Use Copy To when you want to standardize selections across projects or save commonly used selections in templates for future use.
Change Status - Click the Change Status icon to update statuses in bulk.
You can update:
Selections - Change the status of the selected selections.
Options - Change the status of options within the selected selections.
This helps keep selection workflows organized and up to date.
Download - Click the Download icon to export the selected selections.
Downloading selections can be useful for sharing information outside Buildern or maintaining project records.
Share - Click the Share icon to send the selected selections to clients.
Buildern opens the sharing window, allowing you to review recipients and customize the notification before sending.
Delete - Click the Delete icon to permanently remove the selected selections.
ℹ️ Note - Deleted selections cannot be recovered.
