Available Change Order Widgets

1) Change Orders Summary - The Change Order Summary widget provides a visual overview of all change orders in the project, grouped by status. This widget helps you quickly understand the distribution and total value of Draft, Pending, Approved, and Rejected change orders.

When adding the widget, you can customize how the information is displayed:

  • Chart Type – Choose between Pie Chart, Bar Chart, or List View.

  • Labels – Select which change order statuses should be included in the widget.

  • Show Labels – Display or hide status labels directly on the chart.

  • Show $0 Lines – Include or exclude statuses that currently have no change orders or no associated value.

The widget automatically updates as change orders are created, approved, rejected, or moved between statuses, providing a real-time summary of project changes.

2) Change Order - The Change Order widget displays a detailed list of change orders within the project, including information such as Change Order ID, name, value, and status. The widget can be customized to display additional columns based on your reporting needs.

When adding the widget, you can customize the displayed information using the available filters and column settings.

  • Status - Filter change orders by their current status, such as Draft, Pending, Approved, or Rejected.

  • Invoiced - Filter change orders based on their invoicing status.

  • Columns - choose which columns are displayed.

After configuring the filters and columns, click Add to place the widget on the Project Overview page.

3) Change Order List - The Change Order List widget displays all project change orders, including their statuses and key financial details. It is added to the Project Overview by default, providing a quick overview of existing change orders.

For additional filtering and customization, you can replace it with the Change Order widget from the Widget Center, which allows you to configure filters and customize the displayed columns.

Manage Change Order Widgets

All Change Order widgets can be customized after they have been added to the Project Overview. Depending on the widget type, you can modify filters, displayed statuses, chart formats, visible columns, and other display settings.

To manage a Change Order widget:

  1. Click the ⋯ (three-dot menu) in the upper-right corner of the widget.

  2. Select the desired action.

The following options are available:

  • Rename – Change the widget name displayed on the Project Overview page.

  • Settings – Modify the widget configuration, including filters, displayed statuses, chart type, and visible columns depending on the widget type.

  • Duplicate – Create a copy of the widget with the same configuration. This is useful when you want to track different statuses or data sets using separate widgets.

  • Delete – Remove the widget from the Project Overview page.

Any changes made through the widget settings are applied only to that specific widget and do not affect other widgets on the dashboard.

ℹ️ Note - Widgets can be repositioned on the Project Overview page by dragging and dropping them into the desired location.

View Change Order Totals

You can also track overall Change Order values using the Totals widget.

To display Change Order totals:

  1. Add or edit a Totals widget.

2. Select the desired Change Order metrics.

Available metrics include:

  • Approved Change Orders Inc. Tax — Displays the total value of all approved change orders, including tax.

  • Approved Change Orders Ex. Tax — Displays the total value of all approved change orders, excluding tax.

Once added, these values will be displayed directly within the Totals widget, providing a quick overview of approved Change Order values for the project.

This feature helps streamline your workflow and keeps your project information up to date.
